Oh, I have to mention that when we dined at the Chalet we discovered that we qualified for the Senior Menu. Wow! That was disconcerting! We didn't order off of it, no sirree! Apparently seniors like to eat breakfast all day long.
When we again began our odyssey we had some thought of finding the Tulip Festival by means of a back road. We rode through the most beautiful rolling farms. I exclaimed of the beauty and PACOG said, "Well dear, this is the lush Willamette Valley. LUSH! It was indeed lush. Just the word I was looking for!
